I spent some time at Youth and Family Alternative's "Run for New Beginnigns" this morning. The event raises both money and awareness for the area's only youth crisis and runaway shelter (for Hernando, Citrus and Sumter Counties). The photograph above is of one determined runner whose mother (left) proudly watches her cross the finish line. The reason I chose this as my photograph to represent the event is, it conceptualizes the importance of family and having someone who believes in you, chearing you on....
