I spent some time yesterday morning in John Chestnut Park, one of my favorite spots in the Tampa Bay area. The first of these two photographs is a capture within the park (my favorite spot is on the edge of the park and near Lake Tarpon) and the second, of the clouds, is a view of Lake Tarpon. Clouds in the Tampa Bay area in summer are spectacular; our record highs this past week has extended their presence among us (yes, and extended hot, muggy summertime air).
